Very well en exclusive built Goeree 1090, designed by Olivier van Meer. The Goeree looks therefore like a Puffin, also designed by Olivier van Meer. This ship is in a perfect condition (as new), gaff rigged and has a mast that can be lowered down easily. This striking designed ship is not only very beautiful to look at but very practical in use as well. The cockpit is very large with spacious and comfortable seats. The cockpit seats and floor are finished with solid teak. Steering can be done from the cockpit with a tiller or from the inside with the hydraulic wheel. In the cockpit are the secondary engine control, bowtruster control and several equipment repeaters. The decks are spacious and provided with an antiskid surface. The gaff rig is designed by De Vries sails and suites perfectly with the overall design and also provides a low air draft of 12.20 meter. There are a main sail and two headsails which both are fitted at the bowsprit. For light winds there is a gennaker as well. The wooden mast can be lowered for inland trips. And navigating with this beautiful yacht is made very easy due to the present extensive equipment. At entry in the social saloon you’ll notice the excellent view at the surrounding outside. Further striking details are the solid copper windows and the smart detailed finish. Thanks to the vertically placed windows the space in the saloon is surprisingly large. The serious helm position, with excellent captains’ chair, offers more than sufficient space for all the equipment. For the serious seaman there is also a very large chart table/work desk present which can be folded away to make room for a nice settee. The settee in the saloon, with table, offers a great seat for the entire crew. In the forward section of the ship is, at portside, a very spacious and luxurious galley made. At starboard side is a double cabin with storage space. In front of this is the wet cell. Here you can find an electric toilet, sink and shower. And in the forepeak is the owners’ cabin with large double bed, lots of cupboard space and a little bench.
