Union is a great example of a lightly used and impeccably maintained J-46. She has had two owners, both very knowledgeable sailors, who have maintained her to the highest of standards. She has spent her winters laid up inside sheds and covered at two of the top rated yards in New England. Union is equipped for offshore passages, but has spent most of her life cruising the New England coast. Over the past 2 years, the boat has received numerous upgrades including 2 new sails, canvas, sail cover, a dodger, new side ports and deck hatches. She has a recent Flag Blue Awl-grip job on her topsides, and shows incredibly well. Union is by far the best maintained J-46 on the market, and the only one in New England. She has very low hours on her Yanmar diesel engine. This boat is easily handled by a couple sailing short handed, or with a crew taking her to an offshore location such as Bermuda. Whether enjoying coastal cruising or competing in your local PHRF fleet, she will take you there in comfort and quickly. Below, Union has a varnished cherry interior, beautiful joinery work, and well appointed Ultra-Suede cushions in the main salon.
