The Tiara 2900 Coronet is an attractively priced sportcruiser with a great deal of versatility, unique styling and a huge cockpit. She’s constructed on a modified-V hull with a wide beam and a substantial 19 degrees of transom dead rise, and while the Coronet may be the smallest boat in the current Tiara fleet, she retains the superb fit and finish found in all Tiara models. By design, the Coronet’s emphasis is on open-air enjoyment and her large single-level cockpit will seat as many as eight people comfortably. Aside from the generous seating arrangements, the cockpit is equipped with a wet bar aft of the helm seat as well as coaming bolsters and a centerline transom door. The high windshield is notable, not just for its sturdy construction, but for the reverse-angled sprays guard along the top. Below decks, the compact interior provides berths for two with an enclosed head and a mini-galley. The Coronet will cruise at 21-22 knots with a pair of 320-hp gas inboards and reach a top speed of about 30 knots.
