This superb cutter is a Dick Koopman design from Holland, built to a very high standard and with some very innovative design features included by her owners. Red cedar strip and three layers of undirectional glass and epoxy plus extra reinforcement at the collision area with ‘Twaron’ form the hull. The decks are teak on foamcore sandwhich. Ample provision for AC power, at least 20 outlets throughout the yacht supplied not least by a 5KW Victron inverter/charger. The ‘Whispergen’ generator provides hot water in addition to 220VAC by it’s ‘Stirling’ engine Her hydraulic lifting keel, operated from the cockpit, allows her to be dried anywhere for maintainence and also to seek those shallower anchorages. Upon arriving in the tropics her owners had the whole yacht painted again with white Awlgrip paint. This yacht has been constructed, sailed and maintained by the same owners since 2001.
