Taormina, a 2003 Hunter 356, is a very comfortable cruising design offering accommodations comparable to most 40′ yachts.  The current owners have maintained Taormina to the highest standard.  This, combined with the fact that she has only been sailed during the summer most years on a fresh water lake, means that her machinery hours are very low and her cosmetic and mechanical condition are exceptional. In fact an inspection will confirm she only looks a few years old.   One of the special design advantages of Taormina is the quality of the 1/4 cut light honey color teak woodwork that is comparable to the finest semi custom yachts.  The varnished teak is complemented by attractive soft goods and accessories.  The ambiance of woodwork and interior decor is enhanced by many fixed and opening windows and deck hatches that provide very good light and ventilation.   An additional design benefit of Taormina is the comfortable aft cockpit with custom pedestal console with double leaf table.  All sail handling is done from the cockpit and includes mainsail and genoa furling systems.  Inboard genoa tracks leave unobstructed side decks.  In summary, Taormina is one of the best Hunter 356’s currently on the market.  She is offered fully equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning, generator and a spacious interior with large salon and galley and two very comfortable sleeping cabins.
