The Friendship Catboat was designed by Billy Kirkpatrick in 1925.  Eight of these were locally built between 1925 and 1929 and raced around Friendship Harbor and Hatchet Cove of Muscongus Bay.  FELIX and two others were built in Belfast, Maine by Augie Mende.  Gaff rigged with Center-board, these stout little sailboats are fun to sail and built for the islands of Maine.
