Grey Goose was built in December 2005, exhibited at the London Boat Show in January 2006 and launched in the February. She is built to Hanse’s high quality specification, which won them the prestigious European Yacht of the Year award in 2006 and has many additions including Simrad and Raymarine electronics, a good Hyde Sails wardrobe and upgraded saloon upholstery. She featured as the test boat in the November 2006 edition of Sailing Today. The verdict: “she sails brilliantly, dead easy to handle, looks really racy, is really racy and has lots of great features.” She has been privately owned, never chartered, always skippered by the owner and maintained to a high standard with sensible upgrades to electronics and sails. She is fast, easy to handle, a delight to sail performance cruiser and certainly worth viewing.
