Features Providing all the information the driver needs, the instrumentation has been designed specifically to work in conjunction with the outboard installation. Fun to use whether moored or on the move, the bowrider seating area provides a useful space for fishing or storing equipment. With a full-length removable ski pole there is plenty of clearance above the outboard motor, making it easy to pull a skier or wakeboarder. A standard trailer gives you the facility to experience new venues and cruising grounds. Fletcher Boats are designed for British waters. They have been built in the UK for almost 50 years and one or two lessons have been learned along the way. We tend to get short sharp seas in the UK. It is slightly narrower than a lot of the imported boats because it has a true deep v hull – 24 degrees. This enables the boat to realy grip the water as you power through turns and the agressive deep V hull ensures it chops through the rough stuff. It’s the equivalent of having a set of wide racing tyres on your car. For those who value the performance edge then these details are important. We have found the latest generation of Mercury Optimax outboards deliver 2 stroke performance with 4 stroke economy making them an ideal match for this boat. With the 135hp Optimax engine you have a boat that is blistering fast and capable of pulling the arms off the most demanding skier! The 17GTO really does have it all. It?s not too big so can still be towed by a normal saloon and only requires a couple of people to launch and recover, yet it offers generous accommodation for up to 5 people. The bowrider feature allows friends and family to ?spread out? and relax in style and also provides useful space for additional gear. With safety always in mind we provide full length bow rails so there is always a grab handle close to hand. Unique to the Fletcher range of bowriders is the optional ?hard top? or ?bonnet? that fully covers the bow section.
