The new performance cruising Bruckmann 50 Mk II Pilothouse is an extended version of a very successful proven Bruckmann design. This exciting design offers the joy of sailing from a large aft cockpit in fair weather with a second helm station in the comfortable climate controlled pilothouse with 360 degree visibility. Exquisite interiors are customized to each client’s specific requirements and, as with all Bruckmann yachts, showcase the Company’s exceptional quality and attention to detail. Mark Bruckmann is one of North America’s best builders. He spent many years working directly with his father, Erich Bruckmann, building renowned custom racing and cruising yachts. Today Mark continues the tradition, building the finest sailing and motor yachts on the water, combining old world skills and the most modern materials and methods. The new Bruckmann 50 Mk II is in a class by itself, offering exceptional sailing performance at the push of a button or providing performance under power, exceeding trawlers. This is made possible by the innovative hull shape that features a long waterline with a balanced distribution of underwater volume coupled with a long flat run aft. The Bruckmann 50 Mk II Pilothouse can reach 9 knots in 15 knots of true wind and on passages 200 mile days are routine. She has 1000 mile cruising range at 8 knots burning only 2.25 gallons per hour with 11 knot speeds available. Fuel consumption can be further reduced with a little sail set. The Bruckmann 50 Mk II Hull #10 is currently available for Spring 2009 delivery.
