The Majestic 53 Catamaran for sale FENNESSY offers the total package for liveaboard and extended ocean passage making with interior accommodations and covered aft deck comparable to 60′ cats.  She is a development of a Van de Stadt design which was highly regarded for its stability, performance, comfort, and ocean-friendly hulls.  The enhanced adaptation is CE certified and is attractive, spacious, and versatile.  FENNESSY’s much fuller hulls (as compared to narrow, deeper cats) are shaped to reduce the bow movement and flatten the seas, minimizing their contact with the bridge deck.

The hull design also provides reduced draft, and the ability to carry more without affecting excellent performance.  FENNESSY was on display for the first time in the US at the 2011 Miami International Strictly Sail Boat Show.  The response was not surprising; in fact, after inspecting all the designs on display, for many FENNESSY was the best boat in the show for all the right reasons:  Exceptional cockpit and deck space and interior volume comparable to cats 10′ longer; quality construction, well finished 5 staterooms interior arrangement with large bridge deck, with galley, salon, and navigation center; impressive master suite with king berth and adjoining study plus four guest cabins, and all with en suite heads.  The couple who sailed Fennessy from her South African builders, Royal Cape Catamarans, praises her build quality and excellent sea-kindly performance and stability.
