North Pacific 38 Boats Review and Specs

We created the North Pacific 38? Sedan for those who like the look of a traditional trawler but are looking for the modern quality of a new yacht. The North Pacific 38? Sedan is modeled after the classic lines of the CHB 34/36 but is 10? wider and 2? longer allowing us to make wider walk around decks, a longer salon, more space and privacy in the stateroom and even the option of a second stateroom.

The NP38 is built to the same modern standards as all North Pacific Yachts with a solid, low maintenance exterior and warm hand crafted teak interior. The design maximizes useful living and storage space while always allowing for easy access to equipment and wiring runs. The NP38 Sedan features a 17? long salon with a 360 degree view, giving a feeling of spaciousness usually only found on larger yachts.

The NP38 Sedan is based on the same proven hull as the North Pacific 43? and 39′ Pilothouse models. Powered with a single Cummins 230 QSB the NP38 Sedan will cruise economically (3 GPH) at 8 kts with a 10 kts top speed.

Like all North Pacific models the NP36 Sedan is well-equipped with a bow thruster, 3000W inverter/charger, 160 amp alternator, diesel hydronic heating system, dual racor filters, oil change system, sea/fresh water washdown, anchor and windlass package and much more. All the equipment is well laid out, easy to access and maintain.
