With the Ruby Passagemaker 60 you are entering the arena of three staterooms, as well as tremendous space for your salon and pilothouse. 3 staterooms and 2 heads — bring the kids; bring the in-laws!   The Ruby Passagemaker 60 is a semi-displacement, trawler-type vessel capable of traveling the world in safety and comfort.  It is available with regular side decks, a single side deck (moving the widened salon to the port side), or as a wide body version allowing the salon to use the full beam of the boat.  The raised pilothouse and Portuguese bridge are both stylish and functional.  The optional fly bridge adds a whole other perspective to cruising and sightseeing. Space has been designed into this vessel to provide stateroom accommodations for six people plus all the facilities expected by today’s cruising yachtsman.  The engine room has standing headroom and more than sufficient space to hold all the machinery necessities one needs to feel at home on the water.  Single screw or twin, it will all fit in there with room to spare. The lower deck arrangement of the Ruby Passagemaker 60 features a full width master stateroom amidships with queen bed and ensuite head.  The VIP stateroom is forward and also has a queen bed.  There is a private door to the guest head.  The guest stateroom is on the port side and is equipped with twin beds.  In the hallway, just outside the master stateroom door, is room for a stackable washer/dryer.  Alternatively, the twin beds in the guest stateroom could be exchanged for bunk beds in order to enlarge the laundry area. The fiberglass hull used for the Ruby Passagemaker 60 has a successful 30 year heritage in the commercial fishing industry, having been designed for stability and longevity.  Optional active or passive stabilizer fins, or “flopper stoppers”, and a bulbous bow can be added to reduce roll and pitch.  A bow thruster can easily be added to help make docking a snap. The Ruby Passagemaker 60 is structurally designed to meet or exceed ABS requirements for motor pleasure yachts.  And, her stability meets or exceeds the US Coast Guard requirement for an offshore passenger vessel.
