New model in the Seaway line up for 2012.  The Seaway 24 Hardtop Sport is a  traditional Down East lobster-style boat for fishing, crabbing or just cruising.   This special package puts the Seaway 24 in reach of boaters with more limited budgets, and looking for a “no frills” vessel.  She is powered with a 115 h.p. Mercury 4-stroke motor, which cruises her in the 22 knot range, and tops out a 30 knots.  The package includes standard equipment such as helm seat, v-berths, port-side bench, and spray rails.   Also included are stainless steel cleats, teak handrails, rod holders, bilge pump and a Ritchie compass.   Steering is mechanical, and fuel tank capacity is 64 gallons.  The hull is available in white or oyster at this special price. The 115 Mercury is rigged, controls are included as well as a battery.   The Seaway 24 hull is known for her soft dry ride as well as economical operation.  The 24 is on plane at about 9 knots, and the easily driven hull requires less horsepower than V-bottom boats.   The deep forefoot cuts thru waves, and the spray rails push water away from the hull and cabin.   Contact us today for more details.
