And this one is rigged to sail!   The Saga 43 was Bob Perry’s first implementation of some of the most modern concepts in sailing vessel design with the plumb bow, long waterline, and extented swim transom. Indeed it is a fast sailing boat. Our offering Bold Spirit is quite a special boat in that she is a one owner boat. Her owners were experienced performance sailors and wanted their perfect swift dream boat. These original owners even consulted Bob Perry and made some additions to make her sail even better. Bob said you could never go wrong with added draft and so hull no. 5 has a few more inches of draft specified at 6’9″ instead of 6’3″.
