The Morris 34 is in every respect a sailor’s sailboat. To help show the diversity of the Morris fleet, we sent Morris 34, ANDIAMO, to the 1998 Annapolis Boat Show and berthed her alongside our largest, fastest, most custom effort ever, Morris 48, REINDEER, the ultimate blend of offshore speed and pure luxury. Commentary around the docks was that Morris Yachts had stolen the show, outdoing the erstwhile leaders in the yacht building world. These two boats so outshone the assemblage that we felt both were destined to be finalists for Cruising World magazine’s coveted Boat of the Year Award.
